Ahhh a lazy monday!! (not for me, for hubby dearest!) Its a bank holiday here in the UK and its been raining too! The weather isn't "brill" like the English would say! I plan to cook some yummy pasta for lunch..quite excited about these pine nuts and pesto sauce I got at the supermarket! I also purchased the acrylic paint and brushes to help me get artistic with nails!
On my way to the supermarket I saw this old man tending to his plants in the lawn outside his house. Just that scene brought back memories of my grandfather and I thought about how he would have loved living here with his own lawn to tend to and the variety of flowers that he would have enjoyed seeing in bloom during this time of year. Even my grandmum would have loved this place with its clean roads and great organisation! It would have been nice...
Apart from thinking about what could have been I am now cherishing what is and I am thankful to my Dad for making me realise this :) I am now finding joy in small things and appreciating what I have been blessed with! I know that there is a bigger plan and life is unfolding as it should...

Very good writing :)
Some small things in life bring great happiness to us. We should thank god for gicing us such happiness .. ISnt it ??
Hey Sudha! Thanks so much! And yes, the small things in life are truly our greatest blessings :)
good on you!
And I thought I was the only one who did silly stuff like that:-D. I feel very silly sometimes when I see a tiny perfectly arranged[petals i mean] flower, tears sting my eyes, I count my blessings and thank god for that moment:-)). And then look around furtively to see if anybody thot I was acting 'funny';-P
The last line in ur post is beautiful....says it all:-).
i'm going to crib less and cherish the lil things more too! loved the last line!!!!!
@ Reflections yes, I do believe that its the smallest things that bring the greatest joys :)
